2005-06-17 - 3:57 p.m. DIRECTORY ASSISTANCE I know! I know! This site is a mess! I’ve got posts and skits just piled up willy-nilly, with no semblance of order whatsoever. And the running themes have just been lost in the shuffle. I’m supposed to be an ass, not a pig! *sigh* So here’s my attempt to provide some order. I’ll provide a link to each page, presented chronologically, with a little information on what type of diary entry it is, who the characters are, and the general theme. I promise to try to update this page as I post new (old) entries. I’ve also included the Main Pages I’ve written for the LBFCA. Encapsulated Clay Goes Missing is probably the first series of posts I wrote (beyond the usual lechery and innuendo) which were creative in nature. I posted these here for sentimental reasons. (the beginning of the end of my rational state?) In June 2004, I got even more creative and wrote a short story in the Purple Pages of the LBFCA, based on the children’s book, Where the Wild Things Are. Nelle published it on the Main Page, and I was very proud. It chronicles our imaginary time with Clay an the Broads’ Ranch. He was on vacation for practically an entire month and we had to amuse ourselves somehow. It’s about two-thirds of the way down the page, but enjoy revisiting some very pretty pictures along the way. Then, in July, I wrote an LBFCA Main Page imagining Clay’s appearance on The Amazing Race. Written in September 2004, The Broad Pageant and the behind the scenes companion piece were my first attempts at skit-writing. Several Broads make appearances, and it also marks the beginnings of my tendency to poke fun at Nick. Jerome and Jacob make cameo appearances. At the end of the month, I wrote another LBFCA MainPage to try to make some sense out of Clay’s Burberry obsession. In October 2004, I wrote a skit about Clay’s upcoming Christmas special. It’s the first time I gave him dialogue in a skit. Many Broads make appearances in this one, and Nick gets to play the straight man. In November, I wrote yet another LBFCA MainPage to explain the Broads’ Christmas traditions. It’s pretty smutty. In February 2005, I wrote a skit involving the Broads (mostly me, I’ll admit it) and Kenny, Clay’s character from his guest appearance on Scrubs, which somehow found its way to the Main Page of the LBFCA. Kimmel and Clay on Valentines Day is just a bizarre essay I wrote about my reaction to Clay’s Kimmel appearance on that romantic night. What. We hadn’t seen him for a really long time. (as a bonus, find out how I got my screenname) Then in March 2005, Clay went to Indonesia, and I was really bored, so I wrote a letter to Nick on his behalf. I poke some fun at Fran, and Nick, and several AI4 contestants. This marks the beginning of Clay’s courtship of Carrie. (and predates Kelly spilling the beans about Carrie being Clay’s favorite contestant!) I also wrote a skit about the AI4 Contestants based on Little Red Riding Hood, and in which Clay makes a guest appearance. Every Day with Clay Aiken is an essay I wrote at the beginning of April 2005 to give my own warped version of Clay’s trademarked talk show. Halfway down the page is another very special essay, entitled Waldo Cam. I think that’s pretty self-explanatory. One Quick Question is an essay on anything but. *sigh* My name is Eeyore, and I’m long-winded. My Brady bunch analogy is the essay that marks the beginning of a gloomy, gloomy time for me. I still don’t understand Clay’s reluctance to tour on the west coast (talking the entire west coast here, and not a handful of Christmas shows in California), but make light of it here. I stopped writing for awhile after this. *sigh* Don’t you wish Clay’s version of “awhile” were the same as mine? Look. I wrote another skit the very first week of May to commemorate Clay’s Visit to the AI4 Set. This one involves Clay and his posse, and the final six (well, I think I missed Scott) contestants. I poke some fun at Fran again, and allow Clay and Carrie to continue their bizarre courtship. Then I was madder than ever and stopped writing again. Until mid-May, when I wrote a skit based on Elimidate. This one pokes fun at the diversity of Clay’s fandom. Finally (for now), in June 2005, I wrote a skit to try to answer some questions about what Clay’s been up to. I mean, c’mon, it’s been six months now and we still don’t know when his CD is coming out. This is my first skit involving the Clelly, but continues the theme of poking fun at Fran and the end of Clay and Carrie’s courtship.
