2006-01-20 - 5:01 p.m. This is the third part in either a four or five-part series. Please make sure you've read Part 1, which begins with shell-pink lips and continues through the Time Warp, and Part 2, which picks up with Frank's entrance and ends with a motorcycle bursting into the room. Roclay Horror Part 3 Frank and Rocky head toward the recording studio, which is housed behind a secret door in the cherry wood paneling, when suddenly a motorcycle comes bursting into the room from another secret door! Columbia: Eddie! Eddie (played by Grease!Clay!) rides by all the assembled guests, who obviously know and love him, but he gets the most enthusiastic reaction from Columbia, who positively jumps and squeals in delight! He swings his left leg off his Harley, adjusts the collar (pretend it's there) of his red leather jacket, and sings to her: Whatever happened to Saturday night? (the crowd sings along with the chorus) Hot patootie, bless my soul My head used to swim from the perfume I smelled Columbia completely wraps her body around Eddie's, but he's gallantly able to peel her off. Frank can barely contain his jealousy as not only Columbia, but many of the other women in the crowd, get visibly worked up by Eddie?s appearance. He marches toward Eddie. Eddie gives a little hipshake and the crowd responds enthusiastically. Frank gives a few Elvis-like moves of his own. The crowd nearly explodes! It's a hip shake-off! Frank is clearly winning, but he still feels a need to deliver his coup de grace. He's worked his way closer to the micstand. He stands in front of it so that his right thigh grazes it just. so. Then he whips off his vest and begins to move his hips Ricky Martin style. He outstretches his arms and continues to move his hips vigorously from side to side, until Eddie finally concedes defeat. He remounts his motorcycle, blows a final kiss to Columbia, and winks at the rest of the crowd. He revs the engine and leaves the same way he came in. Frank (readjusting his orange shirt): C'mon, Rocky. We've got work to do. Let's go into the studio. As for the rest of you? It's time for a nap. Janet is confused about the nap before dinner requirement at the Frank-n-Furter household, but as she has no real choice in the matter, she's curled up under the covers of her bed. Suddenly there's a slight knock and the door opens. It's Brad. Brad: Janet? Are you sleeping? Janet: No, Brad. But should you really be in here? We don't have that kind of relationship. (pauses) Do we? Brad: Of course not. I just wanted to talk. About music. I got a glimpse of Frank's recording studio and it's really top-of-the-line. I think we should go down there and start recording my CD right away. Brad begins singing the Bonnie Raitt classic I Can't Make You Love Me, and Janet can't believe what she?s hearing. Brad's voice sounds so much more experienced live than what she heard on the demos. Janet: Brad? Is that really you? She reaches for his glasses, and ends up pulling off both the glasses and a poorly-dyed auburn wig! It's Frank! Frank: C'mon, Janet. It's okay. I know you were enjoying yourself. Janet: It's not that. I was saving myself for Brad. Frank: Don't you think it's possible to produce more than one singer at a time? Janet: Um, uh, I guess so. Frank: I promise I won't tell. Frank continues to sing his song and Janet leans back against the headboard. Janet: I guess it couldn't hurt. (she sits up) Promise Brad will never find out. Frank: Never. Janet leans back again and loses herself in the music. The scene changes to Riff Raff and Columbia in the kitchen. They're watching one of the plasma tvs, and are able to see what's happening in any room in the house. They snicker at the scene between Janet and Frank, then switch to the recording studio, where Rocky is alone, slumped against the mixing board. Riff Raff: It's time to let out the dog. Magenta sighs and then opens a door to a small room where a little Border Terrier has been napping. She opens another door to the backyard, and the pup scampers out to do her business. The scene now switches to Brad's room. He's out cold on a bottom bunk. Janet enters the room. Janet: Brad? Are you sleeping? Brad doesn't move. Janet: Brad! Wake up. It's me, Janet! We need to talk about your career. Brad doesn't even budge, so eventually Janet takes off her wig, only to reveal herself as Frank. He nimbly climbs the ladder to the top bunk and quickly falls asleep as well. Meanwhile, the real Janet is feeling a little guilty about being disloyal to Brad, so she starts to wander the halls of the mansion and talk to herself about all the twists and turns her life has taken since she agreed to become Brad's executive producer. She's shocked when she see passes one of the ever-present plasma tvs, and sees a scene of Brad and Frank together in Brad's room. They've apparently woken from their nap, and are now sitting cross-legged on the floor, each with a video controller in his hands. Would they have this comraderie if they'd known how she'd betrayed them both? Janet sobs again and eventually enters the recording studio through the still-opening paneling of the massage room/lab. She's surprised to see Rocky, alone, slumped at the engineering board, microphone held limply in his hand. He doesn't see her as he winces a bit and twists another control dial and hears horrible wailing through the speakers. Janet shrieks as well, and Rocky drops the microphone. They both bend down to get it, and in their mutual embarrassment, they rise together with the microphone. Janet: Did Frank leave you alone with all this equipment? Rocky nods. Janet: You poor thing. All these dials and buttons must be awfully confusing. He nods again. Janet: That's okay. I'm kinda inexperienced myself and find them pretty confusing as well. Um, how are you with the microphone? Rocky places the microphone into the stand, and strikes a rock star pose. He sings and growls a few bars as he gyrates against the mic stand. Janet gurgles a little, then places her hand on the mic as well. Now Janet begins to sing as the two of them continue to manipulate the mic and its stand, and eventually work their way back to the massage table by the end of her song. I was feeling done in Back in the kitchen, Riff Raff and Magenta are flipping through the channels of their plasma tv, when they see another visitor at the front door, an older gentleman, who seems to have an agenda along with his briefcase. Riff Raff sighs before he gets up to answer it. He also alerts Frank to this new, most interesting visitor. Frank responds violently to Riff Raff's announcement, not because his right hand man is doing anything wrong, but because he was just about to get to level 5 when he was interrupted. Who could this visitor be? And what or who could he be looking for? to be continued....
